A personal note..
I got engaged last weekend! =D I'm very excited and eager to begin the wedding planning, so if anyone here would like to keep up with my wedding babble, please friend [info]wedding09 :) All entries on that journal are embedded into our wedding website, which will eventually have pictures, info, and wedding resource links but for now it's just a blog :D

I have no idea what my convention schedule will be like because I have a LOT going on this year, and the wedding will be sometime in 2009 but money must be saved starting now. Because of this, I'll be putting all proceeds from photo shoots aside for the wedding :) I can not attend Katsu as I originally wanted to, as hours in the studio I am employed with have been terribly slow since the holidays and I just can't afford it.

Yay congrats! ^^ I just recently got engaged myself and my fiancee and I are planning tentatively for 2009 as well. Its funny how I was more concerned about what this meant for my con schedule than anything else. Sad huh? ^^;;;

I hope you don't mind if I friend your wedding LJ so I can hear about how someone else is doing planning wise, 'cus I'm kinda lost on where to go myself and it would be really awesome to follow along with someone else.

Congratulations!!! I got engaged in July, and we're planning an October 2009 wedding. I'll be friending your wedding journal, if you don't mind (you probably don't remember me as we never really chatted anywhere--I think you friended me once upon a time through Amanda's journal, and I just stuck around since then). It's difficult planning right now because I've been moving every few months for work :-\ I don't even know where we'll be when it's supposed to happen, so we can't even really choose a location yet. I'm making up for that by doing all the other stuff first--vows, music, etc.

I have everything on my journal, but I'll probably be doing a wedding journal eventually, too.

Friend away! I'm having difficulties planning for similar reasons.. our lease is up at the end of April and I don't know where we'll be moving to so I'm hesitant to commit to a location right now.. but all the really fantastic places are being taken so quickly! AUGH!

Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! What a wonderful proposal, too. :)

I friended your wedding journal as I'm very interested in how your plans and adventures in preparing the wedding go. I absolutely LOVED planning for and arranging my wedding (I was married in June 2004). Those adventures (and the wedding itself) were some of the BEST times of my life with my husband and my very best friends. Enjoy your engagement. :)

Well the wedding won't be until 2009, so you've got plenty of time ;) I'm looking into some really fantastic spots for the wedding and once Jessi and I find one that we love, we'll see what their availability is and pick the date from there! As soon as I have a wedding date, I'll be letting those who are invited know (which, of course, includes you) <3
